Application Procedure

Interested students should send the following, via email attachment, to the Hiring Supervisor listed in posting:

  1. Cover letter
  2. Current, updated resume
  3. Written letter or email from faculty advisor confirming that the student is in good academic standing, not on fellowship support, and that the advisor is aware of and approves the student’s employment at 25 or 50% effort.
  4. Telephone inquiries will not be accepted.
  5. No late applications and/or resumes will be considered.

Selection Criteria:

  • Must be a University of Michigan graduate student in good academic standing.
  • Academic reports will be reviewed.  Students with incomplete grades will not be considered.
  • Work described for a GSSA position should be considered academically relevant by the department or degree program in which the student is enrolled.
