Application Procedure
Application availabilty is emailed to current ME grad students. An on-line application is availble to ME enrolled students. Non-ME students or students not yet enrolled, i.e., admitted for upcoming term, should contact Cynthia Quann-White at <cynthiaq@umich.edu> to request an application. Usual application time period is stated below. Number of GSI positions depends on enrollment. Criteria includes the student's academic background & overall GPA and research focus. Bonos points might include if the student has taken the same or similar course and received and outstanding grade, and/or if the student has previously been a GSI.
Typical Duration of Postings
With the GSI applications, for about 2-3 weeks - soon to be avavilable 24/7 on the Department's web site.

Additional Information
The English Language Institute's test must be passed by students whose UG education was not taught in English medium. This ELI test is arranged by the ME Grad Program with the announcement of GSI application availability.
