GSRP ENROLLMENT

The Northwood Child Development Center is taking applications for fall enrollment in the Great Start Readiness Program, awarded from the Michigan Department of Education.  Preschool children who are four years old (but not 5) before December 1, 2009 may be eligible for free tuition to attend afternoon preschool classes.  Full-time childcare is also available for a reduced fee to eligible children.  Families who have experienced difficult circumstances that may affect children’s school success are encouraged to apply.   Examples of family situations include a speech or developmental delay, limited income, divorce or single parent family, English language learners, and other situations.  Spaces are limited, and documentation of eligibility is required.  After all GSRP scholarships have been awarded, Northwood CDC will maintain a waiting list of eligible families for future consideration.
