A Quick Guide for Classification ReviewEffective July 1, a new process has been implemented for job classifications. Under the new process, University Human Resources will conduct classification reviews under the following circumstances:
Tools for Classification ReviewThis Quick Guide is intended to provide easy access to the tools you need for properly documenting position descriptions for classification reviews or for requesting job classification changes. The Position Description FormThe Position Description Form (PDF) is the starting point and primary tool for initiating a classification review for all regular staff and bargained-for positions. The purpose of this form is to formally document the content of a job, including job functions, duties, scope, and the minimum and preferred qualifications. This form can be completed electronically and sent as an email attachment. When requesting job classification changes or for classifying new positions, send the completed PDF form to your designated Staff HR Representative.
