University of Michigan

English Language Institute, University of Michigan
Offers over thirty one- and two-credit courses in  English for Academic Purposes  for nonnative speakers of English enrolled at, and visiting, the University of Michigan.

U-M Family Housing English Language Program
The Northwood Community English Language Program offers English as a
Second Language instruction to residents of the University of
Michigan's Northwood housing community, as well as non-residents.
Classes for adults, school-aged children and teens, and preschool
children are offered throughout the year. Beginning, intermediate,
and advanced level courses are available.

Other colleges/universities

Eastern Michigan University (English as a Second Language)
An "English for Academic Purposes" program that seeks to empower non-native English speaking students with the language skills and academic strategies necessary to surmount challenges they will encounter in university courses.

Washtenaw Community College (English as a Second Language)
A complete program of courses to help students achieve the level of English proficiency they need for their own goals.
