Please schedule "Regular" new hires in advance (by Noon on the preceding Wednesday) through your Employment Process Coordinator. Schedule "Temporary" new hires through Lynn Burns at (734) 647-1872.
Day 1: MTV (Michigan Traditions and Values)
For Hospital Regular and Temporary Employees (and any other working at UMHHC)
Date: Every Monday (excepting University-recognized Holidays)
Time: 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
Location: North Campus Administrative Complex (NCAC) Building on Hubbard Road east at Huron Parkway
Lunch will be provided on Day 1 only
Day 2: Orientation
For both Hospital and Medical School Employees (Non-Nursing)
Date: Every Tuesday (excepting University-recognized Holidays)
Time: 8:00 am to 11:00 am (suggested arrival by 7:45 a.m.)
Location: North Campus Administrative Complex (NCAC) Building at 2901 Hubbard, just east of Huron Parkway.
For Ambulatory Care Medical Assistants
Date: Every other Tuesday (excepting University-recognized Holidays)
Time: 8:00 am to 11:00 am (suggested arrival by 7:45 a.m.)
Location: North Campus Administrative Complex (NCAC) Building at 2901 Hubbard, just east of Huron Parkway.
Time: 12:00 noon - 4:30 p.m.
Location: North Campus Administrative Complex (NCAC, Floor 2, Room 201B)

Nursing Personnel join the general Human Resources DAY 2 program on Tuesday mornings. A lunch hour (on their own) is scheduled, and Nursing Personnel Orientation then begins at 12:30 PM in the same room at the North Campus Administrative Complex, lasting until 4:30PM. For ALL New Employees
All employees attending "Michigan Traditions & Values/New Employee Orientation" are strongly encouraged to bring two of the following pieces of identification to orientation.
- Non-expired Passport
- Driver License & Social Security Card
- Birth Certificate & Driver License
- Voter’s Registration Card & Birth Certificate
- School Identification Card (must have a picture on ID) & Birth Certificate
