I reached a milestone birthday and had more aches and pains and less energy than my 80 year old aunt, who by the way, is amazing. I decided I also wanted my body to be fit and strong enough to carry me towards my 80th birthday too!
I opted to seek out a personal trainer because of my sedentary lifestyle and lack of physical activity for some time. I wanted the one-on-one assistance and personalized fitness program that personal trainers can provide. I also wanted the accountability for myself as I adjusted to my new fitness routine.
I look forward to my weekly sessions with Jessica, my personal trainer. She is great and a perfect match for me. I like that we do a combination of free weights, exercise equipment and floor exercises so I can continue at home without a gym membership if I choose to do so. I love the immediate feedback and the comradely. She is my partner helping me to reach my goals.

Since I have been working with Jessica my overall sense of well-being has improved. My sleep is more restful and I have noticed an increase in my energy level and strength. I’m leaner and beginning to develop noticeable muscle tone in my arms, back and legs. Most importantly, most of the aches and pains have subsided. I can actually touch my toes easily now and could barely bend over without groaning before.
My attitude towards my responsibility for my own health and fitness has been greatly enhanced by my experience with the program. Today I can’t imagine fitness and proper nutrition not being a part of my lifestyle.
