Confidentiality
All information from the MHealthy Wellness Assessments is treated as confidential medical information protected by federal privacy laws.
To protect your privacy, the University of Michigan has hired StayWell, a national health improvement company, to conduct the wellness assessments. By agreeing to StayWell's privacy statement when you complete the health questionnaire and sign a consent form, you are allowing StayWell to view your health assessment information and advise you on health improvement strategies.
Your personal results will not be shared with anyone at the University of Michigan, without your permission. Only aggregate (group) data, with no personally identifiable information, will be available to U-M to help us better understand the collective health of our faculty and staff community and to assist us in planning future programs that address the greatest needs of our community.
