University PoliciesThere are several University Standard Practice Guides (SPGs) that put the University’s Nondiscrimination Statement into effect. SPG 201.35 prohibits discrimination in employment and human resources policies and practices and states that reasonable accommodations will be provided to persons with disabilities and to accommodate religious practices. SPG 201.82 sets forth the University’s Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action policy. SPG 201.84 sets forth the University’s Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action policy for individuals with disabilities. SPG 201.87 sets forth the University’s Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action policy for veterans and veterans with disabilities. SPG 201.89 sets forth the University’s sexual harassment policy for faculty and staff. SPG 201.89-1 sets forth the University’s policy on discriminatory harassment. SPG 601.6 sets forth the University’s policy preventing discrimination based on sexual orientation. SPG 601.22 sets forth the University’s policy on faculty relationships with students. SPG 601.22-1 sets forth the University’s policy on employee relationships with students. Finally, the Statement of Student Rights & Responsibilities sets forth the rights and responsibilities of University students regarding, among other things, discrimination and harassment. |
