Case Study: Numbers that don’t
add up.
This example is a true account from
the TSS files. The identities have been concealed to avoid
embarrassing outside vendors:
One department needed two accountants
for eight weeks. A specialty (non-prime) vendor quoted an
hourly rate of $27.00 per hour for each temporary accountant.
The use of the non-prime vendor’s
two temporaries would have cost the department over $17,000
for the eight-week period. TSS filled these two positions
instead at a cost of just over $9700. TSS
~ SAVED THE DEPARTMENT OVER $7488.00!!!
