Leave of Absence Information
In this section you will find information on a variety of policies, including maternity leave, family and medical leave, and other links from the standard practice guide, as well as flexible spending accounts (FSA’s) that can be used to help offset child care costs. Also, we have information about our Kids Kare at Home program, the emergency sick and back-up care program for times when you have to be at work or class. Finally, we invite you to participate in our parent registry—a chance for new parents to check with other parents who have used a particular child care provider which you might be interested in knowing a little bit more about.
The University offers a variety of leaves of absence for those who need time to attend to situations in their personal lives. In this section, you will find links to various policies, including family and medical leave, and leave for birth of a child.
