How much do you know about noteworthy Hispanic Americans or important moments in their history? Hispanic Heritage Month is an opportunity to celebrate the contributions made by Hispanic men and women to American society.

Dive into the lives of incredible Hispanic Americans such as Octaviano Larrazolo, the first Hispanic senator in U.S. history, Rita Moreno, the first Latina actress to receive an Oscar, Dr. Antonia Coello Novello, the first Hispanic and first female surgeon general of the U.S., and Alicia Dickerson Montemayor, a great initiator of Hispanic women’s rights.

Watch Hispanic Heritage Month videos and learn more about fellow Americans whose examples continue to inspire and promote unity today.
