Application Procedure
We fill most of our GSI positions from within our department in fulfillment of admission commitments. We seek external applicants when we do not have enough History of Art graduate students to fill the available GSI positions.

Eexternal applicants are required to submit a cover letter indicating which course/courses they are interested in teaching/grading, a CV, a current transcript indicating good standing (unofficial copies are acceptable), and course evaluations, if available.
Please submit materials to Graduate Student Services, 50A Tappan Hall, Ann Arbor, MI 48109-1357. We accept materials via campus mail, postal mail & fax at 734-647-4121. Applications are reviewed by the Director of Graduate Studies and course instructors.
