Application Procedure

Student must submit an Employment Application For Graduate Student Instructors, and Graduate Student Staff Assistantships (paper copy) and a Bid Form (paper copy) unless the candidate has a financial aid package that includes an assistantship.  The application due date is posted on the Position Posting that is posted on the SOE website and in the Program Office.  Selections are made and decisions to all candidates are provided via e-mail by a posted date on the Position Posting.  Unsuccessful applications will be retained for consideration in the event that there are last minute openings.  Upon request, an unsuccessful applicant will receive, within 14 calendar days, a written explanation of the reasons for denial of employment.

Posting Period for Each Term

• Fall Dates: 4/1 - 8/1
• Winter Dates: 11/1 - 12/15
• Spring/Summer Dates: 4/1 - 4/30

Additional Information

Preferential consideration will be given to applicants for whom a GSI position has been promised as part of their financial aid package from the SOE.
