We appreciate when people take the
time to come into our offices. Just walk in to Suite G250
at Wolverine Tower and ask for an application to take home
or fill out on the spot.
What jobs are out there?
All kinds - from entry level to specialized
positions in technical, legal and medical fields. Some of
the most frequently offered positions include: secretaries,
office assistants, administrative assistants, data entry clerks,
laundry workers and custodians. We also offer additional clerical,
professional/administrative, labor and technical positions
depending on departmental needs.
What are the hours?
You could work 40 a week. You could
work less. Each position is different. So if you are looking
for full time or part time, we may be able to help.
What happens after I turn in the
application?
When TSS receives your application, we data enter, review, and run checks to verify your eligibility for employment at the University of Michigan. This process usually takes us about one week.
When will I be contacted by your office?
Once we complete the review and assessment of your application, we try to match your skills, experience, and availability with possible temporary positions in various University departments. If we find a potential match, we will call you for an interview and basic computer testing at that time.
How long will a teMp position last?
Assignments are generally six weeks
or longer – possibly as long as one year (89 days for
service/maintenance positions). One day- to three-week positions
are sometimes available for specific, skilled positions.
